Bella had just gotten out of the bathtub and she wanted to go outside. Since her hair was wet, I told her she needed to put on a jacket so that she wouldn't freeze! A few moments later she came into the office like this, and said can I go outside like this? I just had to grab my phone and take a picture! I don't do that with a towel on my hair but apparently she learned it somewhere, which brought back memories of growing up, and made my day!

A Great Reminder!
"It is important to me that the guy I am in a relationship with becomes my best friend, and I become his. To fully trust him with my life, and my soul. To be compatible and to feel an inner peace when we are together"
I had written this in the front of a notebook that I carried around with me to remind me of the kind of relationship that I wanted and that I deserved. :)
It was a great reminder that even though I am not feeling very well, I know I am in the type of relationship that I wanted so much.
Daniel is my best friend, and I am his. I do completely trust him with my life. We are compatible in every way, and I definantly feel an inner peace when we are together.
Lucky, Lucky me.
Now I just need to write down in the front of a notebook that I have incredible health! :) But as that becomes a reality for me, at least I have a great guy to take care of me. :)

Pinch Me!!!
So after 4 weeks of not hearing from the court about my divorce, I decided to call and see if they had received everything they needed. The clerk at the courthouse said, "Well, they must have received everything, because the paper's were signed on September 11th". The next few weeks ought to be interesting, it will be a lot of work to become a Breitlilng again... But well worth it. :) Time to go out and Celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) (For real this time! :) lol)

2 Birds With One Stone!
Wow! Today has been such an incredible day! I have felt so much love from my family and friends! I love the thought of birthdays. The one day a year that you should be number one and everything should go your way. On many occasions I have been very disappointed with my birthday because my expectations were so high. However this year I have been really blessed. I love that October first has become more than just a birthday for me. It is also the anniversary of the day I met Daniel. :) So now I get two excuses to celebrate!
I spent the morning talking with Daniel about this day two years ago and just how far we have come since then. We met two years ago today, when Daniel took me to the circus. I had been having a horrible birthday and he turned not only my mood around that day, but he has helped turn my life around as well. I am such a better person for knowing him and I am so happy for our two years together!

Linda also wrote a really sweet message on her blog as well. She wished that she could add to my elephant collection! And she did just that, "giving" me five pictures of elephants on her blog. Christina left a picture of Babar the Elephant and Robert left a really cute elephant birthday wish as well! I think someone found out I like elephants! :) Who told? lol
And then of course the love of my life wrote about the day we met! :) What incredible memories.
We went and watched Harrison play his first game with his new team, The Steam. It was nice to see Harrison and Zoey as well. After the game we all went to McDonalds for dinner. We being Daniel and I, Elizabeth, Harrison, Merlin, Charlene, Zoey and Bella. The kids all gave me a gift, most of which were elephants! Elizabeth had Harrison and Zoey give me a really cute handbag, which I am assuming she made. (yes, she is crafty, not like me... lol)
What an incredible day!

Two years ago today.....Happy Birthday my Lisa
Two years ago today about 1pm I made a phone call that would forever change my life.
. . But lets back up just a little first. . . I had been divorced for just over two years and was dating quite a bit. I met most of the people I dated from dating sights like eHarmony.com. I also was a member of several social networking sights like MySpace and ldsLinkup. . I was a social Butterfly. . Okay maybe more like a Dragonfly. . .
I was driving back home from SLC (I lived in Orem at the time) and recalled one of the people I had conversed with through MySpace. She had given me several phone numbers with the disclaimer that she had very little priority on phone conversations so don't be offended if she didn't answer. I had put the numbers in my cell phone for whatever reason. . .
I was just passing 12300 South on I-15 when I picked up my phone and started looking through my contacts. I spent a lot of time on the road driving between SLC and Orem, so I usually ended up calling and chatting with someone. I made a few unanswered calls when I got to one that Said MyspaceLisa. . . . I had a vague recollection of out 2 or 3 emails and decided to call. . . .
The phone rang a few times and then picked up, "HELLO?" I could immediately tell she was not happy. . . It only took a few minutes to get her to warm up though. . . It was her birthday and it wasn't going well. . .
We chatted while she went to the store to get clothes to run the St. George Marathon the next week. She told me she had tickets to the Circus but no one would go with her. She told me how much she loved elephants. . . And over the next two hours, we just got to know each other. . . I offered early on in the conversation to take her to the Circus, she said "that's okay". . . I pushed a little then let it go. . .
I had gotten home and looked at her online profile and we talked about her favorite actors and how much she loved shooting her Bow. We talked about kids and about ex's, we talked about our experiences with online dating and both made it clear we were just looking for friends. . . .
Eventually I found myself driving back up to SLC to pick her up. . . We were going to the circus. . . When I knocked on her door and when she answered we said hi and off we went. . .
We chatted, she talked on the phone, texted and we chatted some more. . . The rest of the evening was more talking, driving, eating at Olive Garden ( her favorite restaurant and now my employer ) all just for her. . It was her 27th Birthday, and I wanted it to be special. . .
We were strangers who became friends who became. . . well, it's two years later almost to the minute that we first talked. . . We have spent almost every day together since that day. . Our children have become friends, our lives have become one, we have build a life together that makes us both so very happy.
We have been through a lot together and we are family. My four and her three plus her little angel makes ten of us in this little family of ours!!! Lisa, you are my life and I love you so entirely!! Thank you for believing in us through good and bad. Thank you for always loving me for me even if I am an Old Man. . .Your Old Man. . . .

Flummoxified!
I went with Daniel to get his roots colored. I could not resist taking a picture! :) (yes, just proof once again that blogging is addicting! :) ) Anyway before I was able to write anything on the post, I was talking to my mom on the phone, and she saw this picture and said, "Lisa! Your sweetheart looks flummoxed!" Daniel happened to be with me so I told him what she said. His response? "Tell her I am flummoxified!" So if you have never seen someone that was flummoxified, here is your chance!
Oh and the word Flummoxified? Go ahead and try to look it up, you will be flummoxed as you will not be able to find it in any dictionary!
